Family Fun

Cody showing Harrison the train

Colby watching the Kyackers

On Saturday Cody finished up his last final for the quarter so we decided to do something together. We went to the Colorado Train Museum because Colby loves trains. They had many different models of old trains to walk through and a museum that told about them. It was really cool to see Colby so excited to go in all of them. I think he drove every train that was there. After we went to the museum we went to a nearby town called Golden. It was a very pretty little town. They had a walkway along the river so we walked around until we saw some kyackers. I couldn't pull Colby and Cody away from watching them. It was a fun day and I feel so blessed to have such a great family.

Amazing Weather

Tornado hits close to home. It is only a 20 minute drive north of here where several tornadoes touched down and did severe damage to a number of homes. Oddly enough we did not get too much of the rain or hail. The tornadoes left a 30 mile long path of destruction northward to Fort Collins. I told Pauline that I wanted to be a storm chaser and that next time one came around I wanted to go see it for myself. You can probably imagine what she had to say about that. I am taking my final, final of the quarter and will have 2 weeks off of school. I am excited about that. We are going to head up to Idaho next week on Thursday and spend some time before I start my last quarter in Denver. We have a tentative move date for Pauline and the Boys to Idaho Falls of July 24th-25th. If anyone wants to come and carry my TV down the 3 stories, I would appreciate it.

Another Day at the Pool

Colby and dad at the pool

Harrison enjoying the pool

Colby can't get enough of the pool. He's so brave in the water and it doesn't scare him at all. Harrison is a little bit to young to swim so he and mom watched Colby and dad. I know Colby wishes Harrison was big enough to play with him. He has already made plans for both of them to play on the blue slide, play with his cars, and all the other boys things he enjoys. I know they will be best buds someday.
In other news Harrison is getting bigger everyday. He is starting to smile and he is a very good baby. The only problem is he thinks he's always hungry. He would eat constantly if we let him. He's getting a little pudgy but he's still so stinkin' cute. Well I better cook some dinner. Bye for now.

Colby and Dad watching the Sea Lions

Harrison enjoying the Zoo

Colby playing the African Drums

We made our first trip to the zoo with Harrison a few days ago. He must of enjoyed it because he slept the entire time. Colby had fun enough for the both of them. He loves the zoo. We bought a pass to the zoo so we can enjoy it whenever we want to get out. Colby's a wild man at the zoo. There were alot of ducklings around the zoo and Colby wanted to touch them all. Every time we passed by them he mentioned how cute they were. He also roars at all the animals which I'm sure they appreciate. Every time we go to the zoo he gets a new favorite animal, depending on how active the animals are. He seemed to love the monkeys this time because they were jumping around and he thought it was really funny. Well that's all for now.

Silvester Boys Update

Colby's Mess
After Bath
Colby loves to help Dad
Brothers

It's been a while since the last posting, we have had our hands full. I've finally been feeling better since my long stay in the hospital. Just a little tired. The boys are doing great and they are both adjusting well. Harrison is starting to fill out and Colby loves him more than I thought he would. Yesterday Harrison was hungry and I was making him a bottle, when I looked over at him I saw Colby rubbing his face trying to comfort him. He's a great big brother. I thought I would have a hard time getting out of the house with 2 kids but it's been easier than I thought it would be. Harrison makes it really easy because he is usually asleep where ever we go. Well I better go I hear Colby saying "HELP," thats always scary. He needed some blue nail polish, "Great" says dad.
