Snow What?

For those of you who like to play in the snow. Shane and I have recently aquired a older snow machine to play on. We have found that it goes way faster with two people on the back and the throtle wide open. Just make sure the driver knows what they are doing. Shane is a little crazy sometimes and I had to hang on real tight. After a few hundred bucks and some TLC this sled really moves. We have never really been snowmobilers but having this one really makes me want to go make an avalanch somewhere. I just wish it were closer and not so dang HEAVY. Shane and I went to the RV park and riped around for a couple hours last week. I dont think we left any snow untouched. It was a great time.

Cars new and old

Today I pay tribute to the ones that got away. For those of you who don't know me I like to 4x4 and get my cars muddy. 4 Years ago if you asked Pauline what her dream car would be she probably would have said a Cadillac Escalade. That is a nice car and all but it doesn't look too good if it were muddy. When Pauline and I started Dating I was driving one of the coolest cars around. A 1984 VW Vanagon and boy did I love to rod it and take it to the desert. I soon realized that she would have nothing to do with such a stunning Van so while she was away I bought Red Jeep TJ. I loved that jeep and I would take any chance I could to articulate the suspension or blast up a dune. Then Colby came along and Red jeep was a pain to get the car seat in the back of so another change was made. We let red jeep go and got Purple jeep. Purple jeep had 4 doors and room for a stroller in the back. And it even had a lift and tires which made me like it. We also got rid of her Stratus and got Black Altima, fast and sleek. It could do 110mph up a 6% grade. Don't ask me how I know that I just do. Well time has come again for a change. I think that I may have rubbed off on Pauline a little bit. A few years ago Toyota introduced a New FJ Cruiser. Colby and I took an opportunity to go the R-Mountain in Rexburg where a Toyota trail team was showcasing the new FJ and showing off its stock off-road prowess. It was awesome right out of the box. I have been wanting one for quite some time and after being married to me Pauline has change her Dream car also. Yesterday we traded Black Altima for one with all the bells and whistles and we love it so much. For now it will be called Black FJ until we can think of a more fitting name. I cant wait to get the keys from Pauline so I can see how it looks muddy. Now when I get stuck in Purple Jeep Pauline can come pull me out in her FJ. Colby also loves it and wants to get a Blue and a Green one for himself.

Boys Club

Sometimes I feel like we have a boys club in our house and there are no girls allowed. Colby is definitely a daddy's boy and now Harrison seems to be the same way. The boys don't like to do the things that I like to do. If I take them shopping, Colby usually asks within 10 minutes when we can go home. If daddy is doing anything Colby is right there helping him. Last weekend Colby was watching cartoons when Cody's 4x4 show came on because it was set record. When I walked in the family room I noticed it had changed so I went to change the channel. Colby wanted to watch it and he said, "Let's see what they are building today." I know it will probably never change but that's okay with me.

Vegas Vacation

The boys by the pirate ship

Tournament of Kings

We just got back from a much needed vacation to Vegas. The weather was a little cool so we spent most of our time inside. We went to "Tournament of Kings" diner show at the Excalibur. It was a delicious dinner that we had to eat with our hands. Colby loved the horses and the special effects although he was a little scared at first. We also went to the Shark Reef aquarium. They had some really cool turtles, sharks, and even a Komato Dragon. Colby got to touch the Stingrays and small crabs. Harrison had a good time at the Aquarium too. We played lots of games and Colby won some prizes that he now has to sleep with along with everything else he sleeps with. We all had a great time and the kids were happy to get home.

"Ta-Da"

Colby keeps us laughing. It's funny how much Colby loves the movie Wall-E. In the movie, Wall-E says "Ta-Da" and Colby picked that up really quick. After he does anything he says "Ta-Da" then he tells us that is what wall-e says to Eve. Cody was helping him in the bathroom the other day and when he was done he said "Ta-Da." He says something new everyday that cracks me up.

Watch out! He's OFF

Harrison has been really getting around lately. He has been getting into everything. I've been losing him around the house. I can put him down in his room and find him in my closet a few minutes later. He's so cute. He gets so excited when Cody gets home from work and he moves as fast as he can so daddy will pick him up. I can't leave anything out and Colby now shuts his door to his room so Harrison doesn't go in. It's fun to have him moving.
