ChiChOOOO?

Mimzy taking a nap on the blanky

Our long lost beloved Chicho has returned to live with us again. 3 Years ago when we moved to Denver we knew that having a cat in an apartment would be an issue so we made a hard decision to leave him behind. He has been living at Shane's house and is quite a nuisance to his other cat and the strays in the neighborhood. He lived in the garage and had free roam of the neighborhood. He has been in quite a few fights lately and was looking pretty beat up. We brought him home to live with us in UT and him and Mimzy the princess of the house are now starting to get along. We love our Chicho and Mimz and enjoy their company. Chicho is a cuddler and Mimz is play full. Chicho is a night owl and Mimz plays all day. Chicho's hair is starting to grow back and all his cuts are healing up. We love our Cats.

Cars new and old

Today I pay tribute to the ones that got away. For those of you who don't know me I like to 4x4 and get my cars muddy. 4 Years ago if you asked Pauline what her dream car would be she probably would have said a Cadillac Escalade. That is a nice car and all but it doesn't look too good if it were muddy. When Pauline and I started Dating I was driving one of the coolest cars around. A 1984 VW Vanagon and boy did I love to rod it and take it to the desert. I soon realized that she would have nothing to do with such a stunning Van so while she was away I bought Red Jeep TJ. I loved that jeep and I would take any chance I could to articulate the suspension or blast up a dune. Then Colby came along and Red jeep was a pain to get the car seat in the back of so another change was made. We let red jeep go and got Purple jeep. Purple jeep had 4 doors and room for a stroller in the back. And it even had a lift and tires which made me like it. We also got rid of her Stratus and got Black Altima, fast and sleek. It could do 110mph up a 6% grade. Don't ask me how I know that I just do. Well time has come again for a change. I think that I may have rubbed off on Pauline a little bit. A few years ago Toyota introduced a New FJ Cruiser. Colby and I took an opportunity to go the R-Mountain in Rexburg where a Toyota trail team was showcasing the new FJ and showing off its stock off-road prowess. It was awesome right out of the box. I have been wanting one for quite some time and after being married to me Pauline has change her Dream car also. Yesterday we traded Black Altima for one with all the bells and whistles and we love it so much. For now it will be called Black FJ until we can think of a more fitting name. I cant wait to get the keys from Pauline so I can see how it looks muddy. Now when I get stuck in Purple Jeep Pauline can come pull me out in her FJ. Colby also loves it and wants to get a Blue and a Green one for himself.

The baby is home

Sorry it has been a while since the last post. As you can imagine we have been quite busy around here. Pauline and the baby are home and doing well. Harrison sleeps all day long and most of the night. I think only mom has seen his eyes when he was awake in the middle of the night. Colby loves his brother and likes to hold him while he watches Mickey Mouse clubhouse. If Harrison starts to cry Colby says that he needs more milk. He is a good brother. Words from Pauline to come later.

Cody's Shadow

Colby is daddy's little shadow. The other day I was printing some pictures and needed some ink for the printer. I remembered that I had a spare printer in the closet. I got the printer out and all the cords hooked up. Colby was with me every step of the way. I went back to the computer to finish my work. Meanwhile Colby finds moms purse on the shelf and proceeds to get moms Drivers license out and takes it to the printer/scanner. He had seen mom do something similar a few days earlier for insurance paperwork. He was insistent on making a copy of moms drivers license, so I helped him put some ink in the spare printer and found some paper for him. He then makes a black and white copy of moms drivers license. He was super excited about it and thought he should do it again. I put the paper back in the printer and had him push the color copy button. He now had two pictures of mom on one sheet of paper. One came out kind of blue and the other was black and white. He called them his blue mom and white mom. He then asked to have them put in his pocket. So we cut them out and put them in his pocket. He carried blue mom and white mom around the rest of the night. Anything that dad is doing Colby is right there helping as much as he can. He is so helpful:)
