Snowy Weekend

All of us by the Snow "EVE"

Colby & Grandpa

Colby and Grandpa Again

We went to Idaho for the weekend and of course a blizzard followed us. We went to visit the grandparents and we still had fun even in the snow. Colby rode on the tractor with Grandpa Silvester and plowed the driveway. Colby also built a snow EVE (from the movie Wall-E) with grandma. He had lots of fun and didn't want to leave. Thanks grandma and Grandpa for the snow fun.

Finally feeling better

After 2 weeks of being sick, I'm finally feeling better. Harrison and I were both sick for a while. Harrison had a double ear infection and I had tonsillitis and a sinus infection. NOT FUN! Poor Colby has been really bored because we haven't been doing much. It's hard to go out when your not feeling good and it's so cold.

I've been cuddling with my new blanket that my sister-in-law Amelia made for me. She cut out squares from Brian's clothes and made an amazing quilt out of them. It's probably one of the best presents I've ever gotten. It makes me miss Brian a lot but I love remembering him. It's almost been 4 years since he passed away but there has never been a day that I haven't thought of him. He was one of my best friends and he was an amazing man. He always made me laugh!!! The thing I miss the most is He was so much fun!!! I really miss him but thanks Amelia for the quilt. I love it.

One Fish, Two Fish

I took the kids swimming today because we wanted to get out of the house and do something fun. I was a little nervous to take both kids by myself but It wasn't that hard. The weather has been really cold and snowy so it was nice to go swimming in the warm water. It was really the first time Harrison had been swimming and I'm not surprised how much he loved the water. Colby has always loved the water. I can't believe what a little dare devil Colby has become. He goes down the water slides by himself and he loves it.

Christmas Recap

We had such a great Christmas this year. It was fun to spend time as a family. This was the first Christmas we stayed home and woke up in our own beds on Christmas morning. Our parents stayed with us this Christmas and of course the kids loved it. Cody had to work Christmas Eve and Christmas but we still spent Christmas morning with him. Harrison was funny because he wasn't interested in opening presents at all. Colby on the other hand loved it. He loved the scooter Santa brought him and the blue vacuum he also got. He vacuumed all morning, Santa had the right idea. Thanks Santa!!

Winter Wonderland

I couldn't believe the snow when I woke up this morning, it was really coming down. Colby couldn't wait to get outside and help Cody shovel the driveway. They played out in the snow for a while and had lots of fun.
